It always helps me to hear how others' opinions may differ from mine. By the way, I'm from Portland, too, and the pictures made me a little homesick. I also like your book reviews. I have a few on my blog, The Write Stuff, pamwrite.blogspot.com. I didn't find Sadie as obnoxious as other readers have so I decided to read something else by Josi Kilpack, and I chose To Have or To Hold. I recommend it highly. Interesting twist on the 'marriage of convenience' plot device. It starts out as HER story and somewhere in the middle it turns and becomes HIS story. I don't know how she did that, but it was fascinating to see it happen. By the way, there are eight in the Sadie Hoffmiller culinary mystery series. I've read the first four and enjoyed them, and I'm not usually a mystery fan.Pam Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17101099770476255954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7279587394548412725.post-65151276266355568392010-08-26T10:59:19.862-07:002010-08-26T10:59:19.862-07:00Thanks, Cathy! Thanks, Cathy!Karen Dupaixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00680579279291206811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7279587394548412725.post-78642599024292742862010-08-18T09:41:55.053-07:002010-08-18T09:41:55.053-07:00Karen I have awarded you the Versatile Blogger Awa...Karen I have awarded you the Versatile Blogger Award. A few years ago I went back to the old neighbor and walked around the block.
